About We-Watch

A practical question
started the company.

When useful information exists in a community, how can the person who needs it find it?

From an information gap
to a service concept.

Founder Colin Rees developed We-Watch around the difficulty of finding corroborating information after an incident. The idea was straightforward: connect the incident with people who may have seen it or recorded something relevant.

The service grew into a model for moderated reporting, location-relevant requests, voluntary contributions and a consolidated incident report.

A pilot with Toronto’s West Queen West BIA helped test participation in a real community and identify practical lessons for the product and operating model.

Where we are now

Preparing for the next stage.

We-Watch is a Canadian-founded project seeking renewed commercial traction through service deployments and strategic partnerships. Parts of the platform require restoration or validation before a new operating deployment.

We welcome discussions with organizations interested in procuring a scoped service, helping commercialize the platform, licensing technology or exploring acquisition.
